TEXTBRIDGE | Literary Agency

Introduction

Textbridge was founded in 2009 by Erzsébet Daray who from 2001-2007 occupied the position of editor-in-chief at Koinonia Publishing in Cluj, Romania where she enjoyed a close work relationship with Koinonia’s international manager, Ailisha O’Sullivan.

Ms. Daray graduated from the University of Babes-Bolyai, also in Cluj, with a major in English and a minor in Hungarian. In addition to her work in publishing, she has taught English in several Cluj schools and is an active member of the local British Council.

Textbridge Literary Agency works with manuscripts whose authors try to approach the truth through fictional and non-fictional stories.

“My aim is to find a publisher for the manuscripts, both original works and translations, those that I have ordered, have had sent to me, or have simply had the good fortune to stumble upon.
I appreciate authors who avoid dogmatism, who are humorous and introspective, and who express, at least from time to time, a sensitivity to wonder. Generally speaking, I am interested in engaging texts that deserve to be represented and fought for in the market place.
My emphasis lies in the form of the manuscript. There should be a balance between content and form. Occasionally, I order and manage book illustrations to complement a text as well.” Erzsébet Daray
